Cambridge: Taste the Rainbow

photo1.jpgToday is your last day to get in on advance pricing for the annual “Taste of Cambridge” festival, held tomorrow in Technology square from 5:30 – 7:30pm, with tickets for sale online and at all Cambridge Whole Foods. Featuring gastronomic treats from B-Side Lounge, Upstairs on the Square, and the Elephant Walk, to name a few, “Taste” donates 100% of its proceeds to these local nonprofits. Since its inception in 2003, this increasingly popular event has dished out a wide range of flavors, from Mexican to Middle Eastern to French and back again, with an ever-changing vendor list that keeps fans coming back year after year. Ticket prices are up a bit from last year’s fest, $40 in advance, $50 at the door, $75 for early-entry VIP, but attendees receive both drink vouchers and the soul-renewing benefit of knowing their financial outlay is tax-deductible. After a few beers from Cambridge Brewing Company and a few plates of cheese from Formaggio Kitchen, who can think about money, anyway?
