Where Marty McFly Refers to Himself as "We"

There are some locally that like to make fun of Bostonist from time to time. As much as we enjoy that, sometimes it is more fun to take a look at the big picture and take a jab at the whole network of –ist sites at the same time. Ironic Sans did just that this week and constructed a parallel universe of –ist sites for those less-than-real townships. Pulling imagery from books and television, our favorite in the parallel istaverse comes from Back to the Future (our obsession since 1985, natch). In creating the graphic identity for hillvalleyist the clocktower is totally logicical. There must have been a hard decision made when twin pines were put in the logo. You know, because when Marty went back to 1955 he plowed over one of the pines with the Delorean. Yeah, big Back to the Future nerds. Maybe that's why we like Brokeback to the Future so much.
