Once Got Liposuction in a Framingham Basement

Wait, no, that's not the lyrics to the song. It isn't a good idea either. The third arrest took place in the illegal plastic surgery ring yesterday. Bostonist is fine going to the dentist in sweet little basement joints – we've been doing that for years. Though we haven't been in the market for plastic surgery, we associate it with something more glam, worthy of a first or second floor establishment. Perhaps it was a particularly nice place in Framingham that drew customers down a flight of stairs for a deal on surgery. The basement operation also had serious complications. Middlesex county prosecutors have now brought charges against the couple who was reportedly performing the illegal operations, including liposuction, and the owner of the Framingham condo which played host to the operations in the basement. The performance of the operations is not only at issue in the case, the landlord has also been charged in a variety of narcotics charges relating to the sedation of the patients. Charges have been filed against the three involved (the couple and the landlord) following the death of a woman who had undergone the surgery and another hospitalized after associated complications.
