The Noise Poll, Get Your Vote On

thenoisecapture_2006.jpgWhen we're the only one in the office we like to crank the juice up to the max on the built in speakers on the computer (they suck, the rock doesn't). The week between Christmas and New Years holiday makes for five days of paid time rocking out to our favorite local bands while we listen to Exploit Boston Radio. The internet radio station is spilling over with local music to get us thinking about all the live shows we'll have to check out in the New Year. There's still time to voice your opinion on the best of this, and the best of that. Hop on over to The Noise website and vote on the best of their 25 categories. One category for each year of The Noise. Ok, so there are really only 24 categories to vote on, the 25th automatically goes to The Noise for the best indie rock zine in Boston. Category 4 on the poll is "Best Song." You'll find many of the tunes featured on Exploit Boston Radio – but if you're looking for the quick fix take a quick search on MySpace for the artists and you'll likely be able to stream a version of the tune right quick. Bostonist is going out on a limb to say that Best Song is the hardest decision that you'll have to make in the poll. Damn those singles. And damn Bang Camero for having so much support from WFNX.
