"Comcastic" Isn't a Compliment

Here Bostonist goes again with the cranky. But, on occasion, Comcast deserves it.

CBS4Boston is reporting a rate hike of three percent starting in February. It's for "expanded and enhanced programming." If that means more repackaged countdown shows and home makeover shows, sign us up! (In reality, this Bostonist would welcome a rate hike to get those shows off the dial.) As usual RCN has found a way to top Comcast in badness - their rates are going up eight percent.

Then again, maybe Comcast is doing Bostonist a favor. By encouraging us to cut them loose, then we'll read more books instead of sitting around and watching the World's Strongest Man competition.
