Bostonist Hearts Q

The Fox25 Morning News Crew got in a few jabs at ex-governor Mitt Romney's glamorous Long Walk from the State House, and the ever-sensible Anqunette Jamison did indeed let it rip. She said,

I had to make sure I was on the right channel. Is this MTV? Am I watching 'My Sweet 16'? It was so elaborate! I think it was a mix between 'My Sweet 16' and Princess Di's wedding. It was so grandiose! And I was thinking, 'Presidents don't even get this, do they?'

They don't. Not unless they kick off gracefully like Gerald Ford.

Q also noted how Kerry Healey got shoved off to the corner: "She was his second-in-command for four years, and all she gets is a handshake?" Yup. That's what you get when you run the state (albeit not so well in Bostonist's humble opinion) while the governor is off gallivanting around.
