BPD - Dance Doubters

123partymyspace.jpgYesterday a myspace bulletin was at the top of the ticker when we logged in:

123 Party! Arrested!!!
Hey Fans and Party Favors--
123 Party! was arrested on Friday, January 5th, 2007 for dancing on Boylston Street. The Boston Cops provided no sympathy and severely doubted the dance. Turbo, Sonic, and Fury (The new Boston trio) were thrown in cells without any 80's synthpop dance tracks. It was totally bogus.
We need you!!
To write and support us for our trial. Any help you can give is much appreciated and will result in a free dance from 123 Party!
Oh, 123 Party! Always getting kicked out of bars, restaurants, and causing trouble on the streets. But we love the dance, we haven’t doubted since we first laid eyes on you. We know that the makeup of the Party has changed a little in the past few months, perhaps the shakeup could be to blame? The Dig reports on the police action taken against 123 Party!, after four hours in a holding cell they were allowed to pay their $40 and be on their way. The Dig also posted the police report a little later today – it makes for some humorous reading for sure. It’s a good thing that Hizzonah is planning to add 190 50 some more officers to the Boston force. Obviously there’s far too much dancing on the mean streets of Boston for the current force to keep in check. Makes one yearn for the days of High School innocence. How did this whole incident start? A staged appearance by 123 Party! for photos being taken for Boston Magazine. The moral of this story: Vox bartenders aren’t too keen on hot pants.
