Justin Long as Mac, John Hodgman as PC. The serial ads illuminating why the Mac is so much hipper than the PC have left many with mixed feelings about their preferred platform. Hodgman is hilarious, no matter if his platform is books, the Daily Show, or comedy tours. It's hard not to like him, even if Apple Computer, Inc. wants to play him off as the bad guy who's prone to virus infection and poor performance. It is not surprising that the commercials have become the subject of a number of parodies on the internets.

Dave at 93South is asking for help in creating a Web 2.0 spoof of the commercial. He's putting Hodgman as PC in the role of Boston's Web 2.0, Long as Mac represents San Fransisco's Web 2.0. It's not starting out well for Boston, the East Coast Web 2.0 rep in the dialog. Help our boring, stuffy-suit friend in representing the home town team for why Boston is actually doing good for the team.
