Boston Blotter: Now Aqua Teen Free!

The Coast Guard is looking for another Massachusetts boat lost at sea. The Lady Luck, which was off Maine, sent a distress signal and hasn't been heard from since.

An absolute monster killed a seal with a shotgun blast. A spokesman from the New England Aquarium told the Globe, "This was not any great hunting. This was somebody who took aim, probably from a relatively short distance, at an animal who had no fear of people."

What kind of asswipe would do this? It's possible that the person who did it didn't intend to kill the animal because the pellets didn't "penetrate the seal's skull." But it's pretty sick to use a seal for target practice.

And did you hear about the Allston firefighter who got so drunk early Wednesday morning that he drove the wrong way on the interstate in Wrentham, causing a high-speed, three-car accident? Whoopsie. Good thing he just finished law school, so he should be fully aware of what's coming to him in court.

Last, the woman whose burned body was found in Wilmington recently has been identified as Danielle Oliverio. She was 25 and from Quincy. Her father has been talking to several media outlets and said that she probably knew who set her on fire.
