Boston Blotter: Burning Down the Pagan House?

talking-heads.JPGA woman has been charged with burning down a combo house/pagan church in Belchertown. The motive seems to be connected to a property dispute instead of a pagan ritual gone wrong.

The woman accused of burning down the house used by the Nature's Church is also accused of threatening the "church leader" (from the AP, not us – what do you call a pagan priest?) with a dumbbell. She has pled not guilty.

A woman got caught stealing a slice of pizza in Shaw's in the Back Bay. The BPD report states that, earlier in the day, the woman tangled with security after trying to swipe a bottle of liquor. She may have been hungry, and she may have been thirsty, but if she was going to go to the trouble, she may as well have stolen the whole slice of pizza!

Oh, and if you double-park and get angry when the BPD tells you to move your car, the BPD will arrest you for being disorderly. And the whole world will know that you were "rude to boot."

Not all stories today have a silly twist. A high-school student in Leominster died when a fellow student lost control of her car and struck him while he was walking. Also, parents from Hull were charged in the death of their 4-year-old daughter. They are accused of giving their daughter an overdose of ADHD medication.
