<description>&lt;p&gt;Noticed that the other day too, but I thought it made a good deal of sense to use M. The word &quot;metro&quot; is pretty universal--a Russian visiting Boston for a conference, say, would know exactly what M is but wouldn&apos;t have any idea what to make of T.

A great recent &quot;T&quot;-using Google Maps mashup of course is the new mbta.com. Such an unbelievable improvement over the old site.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
