Marathon Monday for the non-runners usually involves drinking a couple of six packs and scheduling a vacation day for Patriot's Day. Making sure you have the day off, and don't get too drunk too early is important for making it through the experience as you're camped out on your friends tiny balcony or courtyard. Rhea points us to a marathon training story that's a bit more inspirational than the way we train. A Wisconsin man is determined to run the 26.6 and lose 100 pounds while training for the event. He tipped the scales at over 400 when he decided to take on the challenge. He has no expectation of winning the race, but would like to achieve his goal. His developments are documented on his blog, where he's also posting weekly videos that are worth a watch. What Would Jacob Do? We'll find out in April.
