There are relatively few classicly good-looking male news anchors. When I do a google search for "hot, sexy, 'male news anchors'" it still comes up with mostly female results. Even exceptionally attractive male anchors like Anderson Cooper are acknowledged more for their journalism than for their looks.

This is something the stations are pushing themselves. What is too bad is Maria Stephanos, in addition to being beautiful, is an award winning reporter and excellent interviewer. She used her skill to get where she is, but gets lumped in with the 'Glamour' anchors.
