The Celtics lost to the Kings 104 to 101. They had no business losing. After some good luck with beating the Bucks and Gerald Green's victory at the All-Star Slam Dunk contest, the Celtics were coming into their game with the Sacramento Kings with a little momentum.
They had a shot, as the Kings are low on the totem pole in the West, and they have a major dose of crazy since Ron Artest sprouted a Mohawk. Even though he grew out the Mohawk by the game, we just knew he was wearing that Mohawk on the inside.
We're just glad the Celtics went to ARCO and Artest didn't come to our town, especially after Matt Taibbi reported that Artest is off in Northern California somewhere starving dogs. Geez - one of the Kings' top guys might be the biggest nutter the NBA has ever seen, and the Celtics still lost.
At least one team is on a hot streak! Boston shut out Toronto last night 3 to 0. Tim Thomas reigned supreme, and Jason York also enjoyed his first goal of the season. The Bruins' victory was quite a change over the 10-2 drubbing the Bruins received the last time they met the Maple Leafs.
