Boston Blotter: Chopping Mall

There's been blood spilled in one of the local malls. A multiple stabbing took place at the CambridgeSide Galleria last night. Three people were stabbed outside and then ran inside for help They are now recovering.

The Herald mentioned that two of the victims ran up an escalator, which makes us wonder where they were trying to get to. One of them only made it as far as the first floor.

Besides the public, dramatic stabbings, there were the shootings of two men in Roslindale Tuesday, which blocked traffic for a time, and a man was found shot dead in Dorchester that night.

And Bobby Brown is back to spice up the blotter. He finally paid the child support that he owed, and now he's out of jail. No word on where he came up with the money.

Last of all, the BPD found a perfect opportunity for a joke when a short guy held up someone in Oak Square early today, resulting in the headline "Short Thief Still at Large." We were expecting a mugging performed by a little person, but the perp was above five-feet-tall. Besides, we were more intrigued by what the perp said after robbing the victim: "This is it?" The guy should be busted for Armed Robbery and Ridiculous Insult.
