Dunkin Donuts is giving out free iced coffee all day today to celebrate the arrival of spring. So get out there and enjoy sixteen ounces of the cold, caffeinated stuff!
Yesterday they had Vanilla Ice (or Rob Van Winkle, as he prefers to be known) and actor Lenny Clarke from The Winner hosting a karaoke contest in Copley Square. Whoever could create a Dunkin' Donuts themed rap to "Ice Ice Baby" would win all sorts of prizes. We didn't recommend attending because we last saw Vanilla Ice / Rob Van Winkle slinging heavy stuff around on Surreal Life: Fame Games, and we didn't want anyone to get hurt if they rapped badly. And the constant repetition of "Ice Ice Baby" may have caused your ears to bleed.
But the Vanilla one was in a good mood yesterday. One individual who goes by the handle Ectocoolest did brave Vanilla Ice and attended the event. He even earned a compliment from Vanilla Ice / Rob Van Winkle himself. Turns out a family act won free iced coffee for a year, a Wii, and $1,000 smackers.
