I'm no expert, but it was more like 3,000 to 7,000 marchers! — blocks and blocks, all types of people, as the article states. Many people watching from the sides signaled their approval. I admire Cindy Sheehan but I don't blame the Democrats first, though I'm very dismayed with Congress. The Bush adm. is still the main culprit. Other than Howard Zinn, I ws also disappointed with the speeches — unfocused and rambling. Much missed opportunities. Anyone agree?

Billionaires for Bush crack me up. I agree that it seemed the total was higher than was reported -- I saw more than "hundreds" as the parade crossed Tremont and broke into two groups -- one to continue into the Common, the other to protest outside the Armed Forces center at 141 Tremont building.
