<description>&lt;p&gt;They don&apos;t even have the permits for the construction yet. It is obvious to all that work in Downtown Crossing that this project will take far longer than two years. In the meantime Downtown Crossing will look like Downtown Lynn or worse. The small businesses in the area will be kiled by this and the BRA anf Mayor don&apos;t seem to care. The new Downtown Crossing will be like the Big Dig, a long ongoing clusterfuck.
The pushcart marketplace owners will also be kicked out. So much for the little guy.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;I own George Washington&apos;s axe, yup the original axe, of course the heads been replaced three times and handle five times. And I&apos;m sure high-priced consultants decided they could &quot;improve&quot; the old store with their New York style and hire new, younger (cheaper) employee&apos;s in two years and everyone would accept the result as the &quot;Original Filene&apos;s Basement&quot;. 

The Basement is dead, its memory is all we have left.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
