Oui, Oui! Jacques Pepin Signing at the Brookline Booksmith

Boston has become a foodie mecca these past few weeks. Last week, the Oldways Table presented its vision of cuisine, and now Jacques Pepin will appear at the Brookline Booksmith on Friday afternoon.

Pepin will be there to sign copies of Chez Jacques: Traditions and Rituals of a Cook, which came out on April 1.

Jacques Pepin, friend of Julia, was a celebrity chef before the Food Network. Now he's serving up new dishes while fondly looking back. Chez Jacques is full of mouthwatering photos - small samples are available on the publisher's site - recipes, and memories from the master. It doesn't get much more foodie groupie than this.
