Boston Blotter: Creep on the Loose in Brookline

--First there was the Eastie Groper. Now there's a jerk who has been attacking women on Winchester Street in Brookline. He has been described as "an Asian or Hispanic male in his early 20s with a medium build, between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 8 inches, about 150 pounds, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt."

He's also not your garden-variety flasher. The police reports indicate that the perp is violent, and he knocked one victim down. Police are asking women in the area to stay on the alert.

--Yesterday, the BPD also rounded up a semi-celebrity scalper, if you consider criminal infamy to be celebrity. As expected, the BPD has rounded up several scalpers at Fenway, and the Herald reported that one of them had been in jail for a murder committed back in 1973. Michael Corradino was a card dealer who was convicted of killing a man who accused him of cheating. So this particular scalper might get more than a slap on the wrist.
