--At Stonehill College in Easton, a student found five empty shotgun-shell boxes in a parking lot. Given the rampage at Virginia Tech, people got nervous. However, Stonehill College waited four hours before telling students what to do.
The school met with Easton Police before evacuating a dorm, but one student shot back, "It doesn't take four hours to consult with Easton Police."
--Andrew Rosenblum, the part-time BU student who threatened an ex-girlfriend is now facing charges, and he will be arraigned on Thursday.
One line from one of his instant messages to his ex reads: "Killing people can change people's lives for ever." Gee, really? If he weren't threatening to kill people, it would be almost funny.
--City mayors, including Mayor Menino, are banding together and demanding tighter gun laws from the Bush Administration. Of course, asking for tighter national gun laws from the Bush Administration is like pounding one's head against a brick wall. Not gonna happen. They may as well wait until the next presidency.
