The Massachusetts Avenue Bridge will be closed on Sunday between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. during a movie shoot.
Hollywood attention is swell. But nine hours? The filming is supposed to be for the new Kevin Spacey/Laurence Fishburne movie about the MIT Blackjack Team, whose cardcounting technique netted them buckets of cash from casinos.
There's a brief note at the bottom of the article: "Officials hope to have the bridge open well before Sunday evening's Red Sox-Yankees game, scheduled for 8:05 p.m."
Officials better hope. Can you imagine how angry residents are going to be if they can't see the Red Sox-Yankees game?
