Bostonist told you last night about how a group walked out of monologuist Mike Daisey's performance of "Invincible Summer" at ART on Thursday. One member of the 87-member group poured water onto the original outline Daisey uses for the show as the rest of the group left the space.
Daisey posted today video of the incident and the moments that followed (his director and wife, Jean-Michele Gregory, records all of his performances). In the video, the voice of a woman can be heard saying that they didn't appreciate the language Daisey uses in his monologue (the performer had just likened New York City to a carnal encounter with Paris Hilton). The performer, who angrily shouts after the departing group, speaks briefly with the remaining audience before he resumes the performance with a photocopy of the outline.
Here's the video, although we suppose we should warn you that expletives are used. We wouldn't want anyone dousing our laptop with water. We don't have a backup handy.
Our earlier interview with Daisey is available here, and our review of the show can be read right here.

Is it just me, or is Boston (surrounding area) changing culturally?

What's going on here?
Could be, but I certainly hope not. I wish there was more info about who those people were and where they came from. I don't know if dumping water on notes counts as a crime, but it was sure done in the spirit of one.
I'm going to see the show tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it.
I really hope it's not changing, at least not in the way that those people would suggest.
I'm seeing the show tomorrow night, and I'm really looking forward to it...
