Boston Runs on Dunkin
As if we needed another reason to head to Dunkin Donuts, Rachael Ray is selling us on the caffeine that we've come to need as residents of Boston. Yesterday, when we posted a story about two guys who had hit up 40 Dunkies in 17.5 hours over 350 miles, we thought that the record could totally be beaten. Reader Dave Bonner shows us that there are, in fact, more than 50 Dunkies in a 5 mile radius of Downtown Crossing. You only have to travel 2.5 miles in either direction to find the furthest franchise.
It might be cheating but two terminal locations at Logan are included – so you may need to have a boarding pass to completely enjoy a fix. We're not quite sure if we're happy or sad to see all these little blips on one map. Perhaps we'll let you know when the last Dunkachino wears off. Wears off. Wears off. Wears off...

Hahahaha this is awesome to see that our story is starting to spark a national interest....It's hard to hit a lot of Dunkin Donuts down here in Florida b/c you guys can walk to over 50 where we had to ‘drive 350 miles’ to do this. Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Coffee is the BEST!!!!
Hmm...I hadn't thought about whether the Logan ones were the ones past the security gates. I know there's at least one outside them, over by the JetBlue baggage claim, so I figured that was what they were talking about. But now that you mention it, there is another one right by the JetBlue gates, too...
