"Center named for late professor and pioneer in improving math education through innovative research and software development" How did you miss that? It's the second possible thing you can read in the press release. Anyways, regardless of the fact that the kaput joke was in poor taste, it's just not funny. It's not even close to funny. That is something that a 3rd grader would giggle at... maybe. The fact that you're employed to blog about things is mind-blowing.

Just to further the ignorance of this post, that is not a "less than or equal to" sign. Notice the words "dim is finite", and the curvey shape of the "less" than part? That's used in set theory, it means "subset". Here, allow me to further your knowledge on the subject with a simple comparison: You are a subset of retard. You would know that if you were more knowledgable in mathematics. You can thank mathematics education researchers someday when you do understand that.
