Boston Blotter: Shenanigans Atop the State House

Two guys were arrested Thursday for climbing out of a State House window and to the top of the roof to take some pictures. They should have known that Massachusetts is extremely skittish regarding all matters of security.

The DA's press release said they have been charged with trespassing and admitted they "knew it was a stupid thing to do."

--The other guy in the Boston Pops Brawl - the one whose shirt got ripped off - has been outed. His name is Michael Hallam, he's 44, and he's from Bourne. And, if Matthew Ellinger's story is true, he doesn't know that you are not supposed to talk during a Pops concert. Police are trying to figure out if anyone should be charged.

--A 14-year-old runaway died in a drive-by shooting in Springfield Thursday night. McGowan was in foster care at the time she ran away. Police are delivering the most common refrain in so many of these cases - they do not think McGowan was the intended target.
