Boston Blotter: Oh, Yes, They Call Her the Streak

051907_ray_stevens.JPG--A New York City woman got caught in Framingham Tuesday sticking her bare behind out the back of a van. In WHDH's terms, Shantae Cammack "gave people an unwelcome sight." More specifically, she offended a mom with two kids, who called police.

According to the MetroWest Daily News, police said, "Her pants weren't even on when they opened the van's door." She told police she was minding her business. Perhaps she's a nudist.

--The BPD released an especially long blotter for yesterday, with an emphasis on car thieves. (Note to car thieves: If you're dressed all in black in broad daylight, you have a lot of tools, and you're obviously not a Goth, then police will assume you are up to something.)

In non-car and non-firearm news, a South End resident called police because, when he asked a 14-year-old neighbor not to sit on the resident's doorstep, the 14-year-old decided that it was his doorstep, started grabbing at the adult, left, and eventually returned with a 10-inch knife. Police arrived and the 14-year-old realized it wasn't his doorstep, after all.

--Remember the Gardner man who agreed to meet a hot date on MySpace and wound up getting robbed? Well, if you try to commit a crime on MySpace, you are leaving a record, and four people found that out when they were caught for armed robbery, burglary, conspiracy, and Internet fraud.

--An 81-year-old woman who got drunk, drove, and killed a man who was taking his family to a restaurant two years ago got off pretty easy for her crime. A trooper noticed Lillian Angelo was driving 100 miles per hour before crashing her car into the Ayoub family, going down to 68 before she hit the other car and killing Robert Ayoub. She gets 30 days. But at least her license has been permanently revoked.
