He wants immigrants (legal and illegal) to do it for far less. Senator Dorgan want immigration control so wages for blue collar workers will rise. Before mass immigration destroyed the unions, meatpacking workers were paid considerably more than manufacturing workers. Now they are paid much less. If this country enforced its immigration laws, wages for production workers would rise. Ted Kennedy has devoted his life (quite successfully) to making sure that never happens.</p>
