O.A.R. Movie Screens Tonight
You know what's up. You know that O.A.R. is not to be referred to as "oar." You remember listening to that version of "Hey Girl" that you got off of Napster way before you heard the tune on the radio, and you've enjoyed the Maryland band's shows at spots all around town.
So are you going to take in O.A.R. on the big screen tonight? Boston will be one of 15 cities to screen "Behind the Backline," the band's first feature film, tonight. The film includes backstage footage and band commentary with footage from the band's Madison Square Garden show back in January. It sounds quite a bit like what the guys from Dispatch came up with when they brought to theaters "The Last Dispatch" a couple of years ago - and that seemed well-received by music fans at the time.
The film is slated to screen at Kendall Square Cinema in Cambridge tonight, beginning at 7:45 p.m. For information, click here - but remember that you probably won't be able to get away with the typical O.A.R. concert antics when you're sitting in a theater...

godddddd,
who cares?
Hey now. We look out for all our readers - and one man's O.A.R. could be another man's Bloc Party or LCD Soundsystem.
