How is it exactly a sad day for democracy when a state's government reflects the will of a majority of its citizens (and see the stats - a majority of MA residents do support gay marriage?)

I've seen your posts on DCist. You're just an unhinged Republican redneck with an incredibly insane-sounding obsession about public smoking. Good riddance to you - we sure don't need you around here.

Another sad day for democracy. The nazis certainly run this state. Makes me ever so glad I packed up and abandoned that boston hellhole. At least my payroll and property taxes are put to good work here in the real Commonwealth of Virginia. I am embarassed to even admit I was born in jackass mass. The good news is Romney gets a good cold shot up his ass for not showing up and defending his position. No one here from Mass. regrets leaving and no one wants to go back and we can still smoke in the bars here.

"The vote certainly isn't a setback for the families who are smiling now that this state's government has reaffirmed their rights."
Well said! YAY!
