Representing on Reality TV, Part 1: Bonaduce Wants Child Stars?

Boston Craigslist had a reality-tv casting call that caught our eye. Danny Bonaduce, last seen locally getting nekkid for the Harvard Lampoon, is casting for a new VH1 show that will feature aspiring child stars and their parents.

We don’t want a pissed-off Danny Bonaduce on our doorstep (would you?), but the new show idea puzzled us because Bonaduce himself was a child star. He has said many times that the experience wasn't exactly the best, and his abusive father didn't help matters.

Perhaps that's why he's auditioning parents because he'd like to find the next child star with sane parents. If you have a sane parent, your child star will grow up to be Jodie Foster. If you have an insane parent, your child star will morph into Lindsay Lohan.

But this is reality television, which thrives off brawls and tension, so we're wondering what Bonaduce is up to and if any parent-child combos from Boston make it on the show.
