Sneak Preview of Joshua at Coolidge Corner

Joshua will screen at Coolidge Corner Wednesday, June 20, at 7:00 pm. The sneak preview is free, the director will be there, and seats are first come, first serve.

Join us for a special sneak preview of this new psychologial thriller starring Sam Rockwell and Vera Farmiga. Director George Ratliff will be on hand for a Q&A session after the screening. Please note: admission to this screening will be first-come, first served as space allows.

Movies revolving around creepy little kids are totally played out (Omen remake, anyone?). But we loved Vera Farmiga in The Departed, so we're going to give it a shot.

Jealousy of a family's new baby turns a little boy into a bad seed. The kid starts off a little weird since he is an amateur Egyptologist, but then he goes full-on crackers and spreads the crazy to his mom (Farmiga).

That sounds familiar, doesn't it? But an Ain't It Cool reviewer mentioned that the kid performs "Egyptian embalming techniques on a teddy bear." If you've seen that before in the movies, let us know.
