Olivier Would Be Pissed! Local Gravedigger Steals Skull for an Ashtray
You know you're looking at tacky when you find a decorated ashtray. But some gravedigger from Fitchburg allegedly took tacky ashtrays to a whole new level when he stole a skull from a grave to make an ashtray.
It might have been okay if he were an actor who wanted a believable prop so he could do the Hamlet "Alas, poor Yorick!" speech, but a skull ashtray seems like a terrible idea. And what would you do with the eye holes?
Not only did Keith Chartrand want to make an ashtray out of a skull, but he also wanted to make a pipe out of a leg bone.
Chartrand got caught because his wife told the police. She was angry because he allegedly also killed her dog. Maybe he needed a smaller skull size.
