Boston Blotter: Stabbing at Tonic, Cat Burner Caught

062407_tonic.JPG--Early this morning, a man was stabbed outside Tonic on Comm Ave. The BPD report describes a fight in which one of the parties had a knife and decided to use it. The victim is going to be okay, but does that mean the city is going to have to shut down Tonic a la The 6 House? Fair is fair, you know.

But the city brass probably won't do it. Last we heard, Whitey Bulger's ghost wasn't haunting the building.

-- The infamous Boston Cat Burner, who set a cat aflame and tossed it into an East Boston house on June 13, has been rounded up. The cat burner was all over the news, and even the Weekly Dig got spooked and requested a clean pair of shorts after hearing about the rude gesture.

The real name of the alleged Boston Cat Burner is Luigi Epifania. He is 23 years old. He originally caught police attention for an outstanding warrant, and he confessed to torching the cat. No word yet on why this Epifania took out his rage on a kitty.
