Boston Blotter: Say This Name Ten Times Fast!

061807_esplanade_wiki.jpg--Yet another attack happened on the Esplanade, only this time the perp got caught. a creep attacked a woman and a child at the playground yesterday afternoon. The report says that they were sexually assaulted. WBZ specified that they were "groped." Police arrested 23-year-old Rearlimgigeazr Eshiesycapilla, a New Yorker, for the crime.

Wait. Rearlimgigeazr Eshiesycapilla???

Yeah, that's the name this individual gave at first. Police were understandably dubious (so were we - come on). His Earth name is Kodjo Simpri. Maybe. We're still skeptical of that. Police have sent the guy out for a psychiatric evaluation.

--The Red Line shut down for a time at Wollaston this morning because a man made threats while on the train. Police aren't saying what the guy said, but he's been arrested.

A LiveJournal post about the incident caught Universal Hub's eye. Fox 25's report of the incident described the MBTA's response as more scary than the actual threat:

Passengers aboard the Red Line between Quincy Center and Wollaston on Wednesday morning were greeted with a shock when service was halted and FBI, along with MBTA police, boarded the train with guns telling everyone to get down, then line up, then exit the train.

--Nine-year-old Justin Gutierrez of Lynn drowned in a pool yesterday afternoon. Even more tragic, he drowned while other adults were trying to help a 6-year-old who was going under in the pool at the same time. The Globe article notes that the water in which the kids were swimming was "very murky."

--In a spot on the Boston Harbor where people like to have lunch, someone found a dead body floating in the water yesterday afternoon. Good thing the body was discovered a little after the regular lunchtime, or someone might have found their meal somewhat unappetizing.

All charges alleged until proven under law.
