Boston Blotter: How Much Is That Doggy...
-- Two people were arrested early this morning after they reportedly stole a dog from in front of a Walgreen's in East Boston. Stole a dog. Police responded to a call from a "hysterical victim" who explained that she had secured Bella, a brown and black boxer, to a pole in front of the store and came back out to find Bella gone. Police found the pup after witnesses pointed them in the direction of a residence on Meridian Street and heard barking. The explanation given? Thomas McEachern of Bedford and Diane Kratman of East Boston just wanted to "take the dog for a walk." Both were arrested.
-- Robert Stephens of Norwood was arrested at about 1:00 a.m. today after police received calls from West Roxbury of a man climbing up a brick wall to a second floor window on Georgetown Drive. The man was seen jumping from the window ledge before police arrived and arrested him. Sheesh, Spiderman can't get away with anything in Boston, now can he?
