Boston Blotter: Homicide #34

-- The Herald reports that a man was shot in Roxbury on Wednesday night to increase the city's homicide tally to 34. The slain man, described as "in his late teens or early 20s" was driven to Boston Medical Center and pronounced dead a short time later. The Herald vividly tells us that his trip to the hospital took place in "a blood-splattered Chevrolet Blazer." Police are looking for information.

-- The body of a middle-aged man was found on Broadway in Somerville early this morning, and police are calling the death suspcious. The man was found dead behind a car at about 4:30 a.m., and although there did not seem to be a visible gun-shot wound, a towel that looked an awful lot like blood-stained was seen nearby.
