Mr. Butch Memorial Rescheduled

If you were among those planning to visit Ritual Arts this evening to say goodbye to Mr. Butch, hold off - the memorial has been postponed.

Regeneration Tattoo said in a myspace post this weekend that Harold Madison Jr.'s family wouldn't have been able to make it to Allston tonight and, in a way, neither would have Mr. Butch - his ashes weren't going to be ready in time.

Festivities are slated to take place sometime next week and will include a short service followed by a parade through Allston to scatter Mr. Butch's ashes. Plans are also in the works for a tribute concert to help cover the cost of the man's final expenses - if you are in or know a band interested in playing, contact ReGen.

***UPDATE*** The memorial will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday at the ICC Church in Allston, according to organizers.
