Drinking and Bowling: Big Lebowski Bowling Party Extravaganza

Aspiring "dudes" and nihilists will gather at the Coolidge Corner Theatre to celebrate the Coen Brothers cult classic, The Big Lebowski. While we wouldn't dare to compare a work from the Coen Brothers to Road House, both movies have enduring appeal for their philosophical takes on life.

If you've never seen it and you decide to go on Monday, you'll leave knowing that you've learned something important about life, the universe, and everything – only you won't be sure what the lesson was.

The Coolidge Corner promises to offer "Lebowski-themed prizes" in various areas, including "Most Convincing Nihilist Quip" and "Most Impassioned Walter Rant." If you can find a marmot, round it up, and bring it to the Coolidge - you'll probably get bonus points, too. But don't show up wearing an Eagles T-shirt, not even if you're being ironic. That might get you hurt.
