The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight Is Back
A bullet struck a woman in the neck while she was leaving a Dorchester Burger King on Sunday night. Latoya Johnson's 4-year-old son was with her. Police are saying that she was "in the wrong place at the wrong time" and that the bullet was likely a stray. The child was covered in his mother's blood.
Crispin McCay, an EMT who was off-duty, was nearby when he happened to hear that Johnson had been shot. He arrived at the scene and helped stop the bleeding. According to the Globe, "the bullet had severed her carotid artery," and his efforts saved her life.
We've asked this before, but when gun-happy people want to settle a beef, why don't they a) learn how to shoot straight and b) set up a duel so they can leave the rest of us alone? Along those lines, a man was shot multiple times in Dorchester yesterday at about 5 pm.
All charges alleged until proven under law.

Actually, like 99% of the time they do shoot straight enough to hit only their intended victims. But even when they do that, the rest of us are not left alone.
