Welcome Back, Marilyn Devaney! We Missed You!

082107_pimp_marilyn_devaneys_ride.JPGWatertown city councilor Marilyn Devaney has been the source of good news the past few weeks since she stood up to the Anti-Defamation League. But the Marilyn Devaney who pitches fits and brings priests with her to trial has been sorely missed. The woman is a walking event.

She was back and bold this week with an appearance in Middlesex District Court to set her court date. She will eventually go on trial for tossing a boxed curling iron at a clerk at Sally's Beauty Supply.

The Watertown TAB blog also notes that Devaney has changed cars. She is now zipping around town in a powder-blue Toyota. As if the car and the behavior weren't conspicuous enough, Devaney showed up in court wearing a powder blue suit that matched her car.

It would have been even cooler if she brought a priest again and he matched, too!

As far as the real news of the court date is concerned, the judge set the date for December 13, after the elections. Devaney will be tried by a jury, and the judge moved the trial to Newton District Court.

All charges alleged until proven under law. Image of a Camry in the shade of "Sky Blue Pearl," which seems close to powder blue from Toyota.com. This is not Marilyn Devaney's ride, but just shut your eyes and imagine a suit in that color. Wow.
