Um, "a slightly sad and lugubrious tone"???? WTF?

...Is Bostonist seriously allowing the use of words like "lugubrious" these days? Please give the pretentious dialog a rest, OK? I mean, this isn't a game of a Scrabble right?

Yes, today's pic is decent (one out of 365 ain't bad) - although I wouldn't refer to it as "amazing" (not just once but twice in the same paragraph, mind you) or "so much more than a common object". It's good. Maybe even very good - but it's certainly not amazing - it is after all, a shot of a crab.

Cheers,
The Anonymous Rabble Rouser

Wow! Thank you for the compliments on my photo! I always feel really lucky when I get a shot like this, because I can't help but think I've been put in the right place, at the right time, with the right equipment. If I could take shots like this about once a month, I'd be happy as a clam (or should I say, crab???) Ha!

Best,

April
