Time to Make the Trans Fat Free Donuts!

fred.jpgIn a massive media blitz, Dunkin Donuts has announced that they're going the way of Brookline and cutting out most of the trans fats in their products.

Now, the company can say they have "zero grams trans fat," but the rules say that Dunkin Donuts can have half a gram of trans fats per serving and still make that declaration. Those who are completely off the Crisco or anyone who tries to eat healthy will probably want to stay away from Dunkin Donuts.

The company test-drove a new cooking oil that includes "palm, soybean, and cottonseed oils."

But what would Fred the Baker have to say about that? Or Chris Berman, the latest Dunkin Donuts pitchman? Have you had the donuts in Philly and New York? How were they?
