Boston Blotter: Creep Alert in East Boston

crime_scene_tape.jpg--Authorities are asking women in East Boston to be careful. A creep armed with a screwdriver attacked three women near the Airport T stop yesterday morning. All three victims were able to fight him off.

Here is a description of the attacker:

Light skinned, Hispanic male with dark colored eyes, and high cheek bones, about, 5’7”-5’8”, 140 lbs, 18-25 years old, approximately 140lbs, last seen wearing tan pants, dark colored/black t-shirt with re lettering and a black baseball cap.

--Two people were shot last night at Castlegate and Blue Hill. Their wounds aren't life-threatening, but it isn't exactly the best ending to the Labor Day weekend.

--Another teenager was arrested for breaking into an apartment and stealing electronics. This time, the perp was a 14-year-old in South Boston. The victim knew the kid, and another kid who was involved is still on the loose. Haven't these dirtbags-in-training ever heard of a paper route?

--In a terrible accident, an 11-year-old boy died when a gate from an iron fence fell on top of him and three other children yesterday afternoon. Timothy Dileo was playing with friends at the Tenney School in Methuen when the gate fell and killed him. Timothy's 8-year-old brother, Andrew Dileo, was also injured. He is in the hospital in serious condition.

All charges alleged until proven under law.
