--A man became Boston's 48th murder victim this year when he was shot in front of the Quick Stop Market in Dorchester last night. He has not yet been identified.
--A hunter discovered human remains off Route 122 in Rutland on Monday afternoon. The body has been identified as Linieda Gonzalez, of Worcester, who has been missing since February. She also went by the name of Linieda Olivera.
Gonzalez/Olivera may be the latest victim of a serial killer. Four other women who had brushes with drugs and prostitution were killed in that area.
--East Boston isn't messing around when it comes to the creep who has been attacking women in the neighborhood. A community meeting to discuss the crimes is scheduled for tonight at 7:00 pm at the YMCA on Bremen Street. The BPD will be on hand.
--Another young woman was sexually assaulted while waiting for the T in Brookline on Sunday night. The attacker said he had a gun, but she managed to get away. Unfortunately, so did he. His description sounds similar to the perp involved in the East Boston cases.
--Someone text-messaged a bomb threat to a church president on Beacon Hill this morning. Police headed to the Swedenborgian Church, which happens to be across from the State House, and shut down Bowdoin Street. The message read, "Sticks poised to explode."
--Framingham's done it again! They are on the blotter for yet another eyecatching, bizarre crime episode. This time, a husband learned that he'd better not interrupt his wife's ice-cream-eating time. But he picked a fight and called her "evil." She responded by thunking him in the head with the coffee mug she was using for her ice cream.
All charges alleged until proven under law.
