Boston Blotter: On the Ground and in the Skies

crime_scene_tape.jpg--On Friday night, a teenage boy was stabbed in East Boston following a fight. Police picked up 17-year-old Jeffrey Sattery of Revere and charged him with assault. The victim's injury was non-life-threatening.

--Late last night, three people sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a shooting on Dubois Street. No one was arrested. Dubois Street was also the site of another non-fatal gunshot wound back in July.

--Two men died yesterday in a single-engine plane crash in Mansfield. Pilot Lawrence Mann and passenger Cabot Squire, both of Maine, were killed when the plane appeared to stall and then crashed. Two other passengers, Jared Lamey, of Maine, and Matthew Kramer, of Mansfield, are in the hospital.

--Another plane incident had a happier ending, but it must have been absolutely terrifying for those in the sky and those on the ground. In Tyngsborough, a small plane ran out of gas and made a successful emergency landing on Route 3.

All charges alleged until proven under law.
