Explosion Wipes Out Home of Stonehill College Students
--An explosion at an Easton home that may have resulted from a gas leak sent six people to the hospital this morning. The blast was so strong that it flattened the two-story structure.
Four students from Stonehill College were living in the home. Three had minor injuries, and one is recovering at Brigham and Women's.
Two Bay State Gas employees were working nearby at the time of the explosion, and they were also sent to the hospital.
Stonehill College's president, Rev. Mark Cregan, has been sending out updates about the students. He announced that the three students with the minor injuries have been discharged and that the fourth student should be discharged tomorrow. Two more students also lived in the destroyed house but weren’t home at the time. Stonehill is providing the newly homeless students with on-campus housing.

Man, seeing stuff like this sometimes makes me afraid to use natural gas in my home! This is not the first time someone has died from a gas leak explosion.
