Soldier From Western Mass Dies in Iraq

Ari Brown-Weeks, 23, of Leyden in Western Mass, died in Iraq in a truck accident.

Weeks was with the Army's 82d Airborne Division. He was one of seven paratroopers who died when their vehicle rolled over on Monday in Western Baghdad. The truck fell 30 feet from an elevated highway.

The Recorder notes that he had been in Iraq for over a year and was scheduled to return in October.
