We See Famous People … Or At Least Their Names

091507_affleck_damon.jpg--The Cambridge City Council has decided to name intersections after Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. The Track Girls write that the council plans "to dedicate the intersections of Pearl and Cottage streets to Affleck and the corner of Pearl and Auburn streets to Damon."

Once this is accomplished, wait for the college students to start defacing Affleck's corner and shouting, "And that's what I think of Gigli!" And then wait for someone to launch a beat-down in Affleck's defense.

--The Women took over a gym in Sudbury for a scene between Annette Bening and Carrie Fisher. Now Bosse Sports & Health Club can use the ad line "Famous People Sweat on Our Stuff!" The owner is considering setting up "a Hall of Fame for the machines where Fisher and Bening pretended to sweat." Please let that be a joke.

--If you want to see famous people, word is out that Tom Brady is selling two condos in his Back Bay building at 310 Beacon. One is for $4.59 million, and the other is for $3.99 million. Maybe he'll throw in some dating advice for free. He and Gisele Bundchen are dining around town if you want to watch them eat, too. Whatever.

Affleck and Damon back when they were young and fresh from allposters.
