Unfortunately, Ted Sorensen is a little long in the tooth. Ted will have to find another ghost-writer. (You youngsters can look up the provenance of "Profiles in Courage" on Wiki.)

Seriously? Clymer was the "big-time you-know-what." I guess he didn't endear himself to W. by writing on Ted Kennedy.

I'm sure a memoir from Teddy would be a page turner, not to mention a best-seller in waiting. Even if it's limited to his public career I'm sure there'd be a wealth of information and a unique perspective on the last 40-50 years of American and world history.

I'm probably in the minority on wanting to know everything about his personal scandals. I don't need a tell-all trashfest. I think we can all figure out what happened at Chappaquidick. Joan Kennedy has enough problems and I hope Teddy wouldn't expose their issues to the world. I don't want or need more dirty laundry.

One other thing, Adam Clymer was the reporter who inspired the infamous ''big time'' moniker from Bush/Cheney. There was another impolite term used in that exchange that I won't include. It's on the Internets.
